Dating fender hot rod deville
The Hot Rod De Ville is a modified version of the earlier Fender Blues De Ville from the Blues amplifier line, and has a higher level of gain in its preamplification signal. The De Ville incorporates a 60 watt amplifier, and is available in two different models: a 212, which includes a pair of 12" speakers, and the 410, which includes four 10" speakers.
Solid state rectifiers don't "break up" as early, allow more clean headroom, and provide less compression than their tube counterparts.

The Blues Deluxe/Deville have quite a few similarities, but they also have some differences. The rectifier, which converts AC to DC, is solid state; the effects loop is solid state; and so is part of the Reverb unit.
If a mod or fix can be applied to one of those amplifiers, I'll mention it somewhere atop the page. Most modern day amplifiers use solid state rectifiers and reverb units.
In 1946, Fender began manufacturing a series of now-legendary amps: the Deluxe, the Professional, the Dual Professional, and the Princeton.
These were easily the most powerful amplifiers commercially produced back then.Generally speaking, most of the stuff on this site can be applied the Hot Rod Deville, some of this can be applied to the Blues Deluxe/Deville, and very few of it can be applied to the Blues Junior or Pro Junior. They may be a part of the "Hot Rod" lineup, but internally the BJ and PJ are totally different amps. The new Hot Rod Deville 410 III also includes these upgrades: easier reading black control panel with front reading text, new badge, streamlined footswitch, graduated volume, and treble pot tapers. All tube preamp and 60-watt power section3-band EQPresence control4 - 10" special design Eminence speakers3 channels from clean to more drive Built-in spring reverb Extension speaker jack Input for included 2-button, 3-function footswitch Amp cover included Amplifier Type: Tube Output Power: 60 watts Speaker: 4 - 10" Special Design Eminence 8-ohm, 30-watt speakers Output Impedance: 4 or 8 ohms Preamp Tubes: 3 x 12AX7Power Tubes: 2 x 6L6Rectifier: Solid State Rectifier Inputs: 2Channels: 3Selectable Channels (Normal, Drive, and More Drive)Controls: Presence, Reverb, Master Volume, Middle, Bass, Treble, Drive Select Switch, Drive Volume, Bright Switch Effects: Spring Reverb Effects Loop: Effects Loop (Preamp Out, Power Amp In)Speaker Jack: Extension Speaker Jack Amp Covering/Grille Cloth: Black Textured Vinyl Covering with Blackface Style Black/Silver Grille Cloth Height: 23.5" (59.7 cm)Width: 23.5" (59.7 cm)Depth: 10.75" (27.3 cm)Weight: 50 lb.Many vintage amplifiers have tube rectifiers, but they're generally considered unreliable.Tags: Adult Dating, affair dating, sex dating
